hi folks i,ma complete novice but we are getting broadband in this part
of scotland and basic requirements are a 2000 processor or faster
can i just change up or is it not that simple
computer is a TIME and about 4 years old

You dont need a new pc for broadband.. They usually include some shit
software that'll bork your pc and you dont want it..
If you run a windows xp/me/2000 os computer then it's going to be fairly
simple.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Upgrade - Currentley I have a mainboard 266 FSB & XP2000 CPU, 512Mgb DDR . I am thinking of upgrading with a 400 FSB & XP3000 CPU. Will it be wothwhile or is it better to go for the 64bit AMD Socket 754 with apprpriate motherboard. Bruce
