Post subject: 1394 vs 1394B

I'm researching on a mainboard to buy. I noticed some boards have 1394B but no further information is provided. Is 1394B the same as 1394 800 (= 800Mbit/sec transfer rate)? Does it use the same connection as the old one (1394A)?

Please share your experience if you have one with 1394B onboard.

Thanks,

wfz
