Hello all,

I have scoured the web and usenet for an answer to this, but to no
avail. I just bought a used computer that has a Tyan 1854
motherboard. I have an old AGP video card (SiS 6326 chipset of some
sort) and figured I could use it to get dual monitor support.
(Currently there is a PCI Voodoo3 installed.) But with both cards,
Window 2000 will hang before finishing booting. I thought I would
just change the BIOS to boot with the PCI card rather than the AGP,
but I couldn't find such a setting in the BIOS! Does anyone know if
that setting is hiding in there under some less than typical name, or
am I SOL?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Owen

My s1854 bios has a setting for agp/pci "display first" under
peripherals. You might also try moving the pci card to different slots.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Can't boot right now to give exact details but I know it's in my bios setup
obviously stated under one of the menus.

Mines set to AGP running a Radeon 64 DDR VIVO (AGP) as primary and an
Xpert98 (PCI) secondary under 98SE.

Running 1.07 bios

There it is indeed. Could have sworn I'd looked through that screen,
but apparently not hard enough. Thanks very much!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
