Hi,

Ive just sold my 2600xp 333fsb and got a barton 2500xp, im running at
190fsb at the moment with memory in sync. Its currently at 2.09ghx the same
as my 2600 was as standard. Has anyone else got this chip on this board? if
so what kind of results have u had?

Thanks for replying.

I'm running the same chip on a K7N2-Delta-L
For kicks I changed the multiplier to 12 and it ran great at 2.0 GHz.

Nice chip. I went from a 1800+ at 266FSB to the Barton 2500 at 333FSB (I
have PC2700 ram). The jump was a huge improvement in performance.

I'd recommend the combo: Barton 2500, nForce MoBo, and PC2700 dual bank to
anyone. Especially when the Barton 2500 can be purchased for $87.00. Very
good value.

Running a 2500xp on a K7N2-L with stock AMD cooling @ 175x12 - 2100MHz.
Temps top out at ~52c, could probably drop that down a bit with a copper
HSF. Haven't heavy stress tested it yet (looped 3dMark for about an
hour) but no problems at that FSB and multiplier. I had some glitches
trying it at 11.5.
Using 2x256Mb Corsair XMS PC2700 in single channel mode (dual channel
won't work). And a Antec True Power 430W PSU.
