Probably more around what my 200/250G Seagates get these days. Had
them long enough to where I'm eyeing 500G, preferably 750G, or even a
T be nice. Multimedia has been moving right along with the times.
Three years miles between five Seagate drives, couple ATA and three
SATA. That five-year warranty means something. I'd rather pay some
extra for it, hopefully, with an end to drives built to better QC
specs and lower defect returns. Can be a seriously major pain when a
drive goes out and data integrity is lost. After getting a couple
bargain 1-year warranty WD and Maxtors, which didn't last much longer
than than their warranty in a non-abusive computing environment, it's
the reason why I swore off other than all 5-year warranty Seagates.
