Any one read any reviews about the 3Dlabs Wildcat III 6210 AGP 416MB DDR and
its comparison to the ATI RADEON Pro 9800?

what aspects of these cards do u want to compare....? if you're even
considering this card [Wildcat-III] then i assume you never play any
games... the Wildcat-III is way overpriced, although not really outdated
because it still has excellent openGL power, and multiple-display
'genlock' features, both very useful for a visualization workstation,
but it has no DirectX support. if u have a chance to get one second hand
for cheap... then maybe, and then only if u won't miss the more
mainstream features of ATI or nVidia cards.

with regard to 3D appps if that's what u'll be using it for, even a
Wildcat-III could be beaten by an nVidia quadroFX, they are WHQL
certified and give a list of supported applications. also i wouldn't go
near a Radeon for 3D apps, if ur an ATI fan look into the newest FireGLs.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
