250w says nothing...

There are good 250W PSU's that can provide the juice and there are bad
400W ones that can't even support a small system stabile.

Mmm, dell you say..mmm.. you can try but do expect to buy a nice
enermax or alike within a few weeks after buying the FX5900<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

i wouldnt run a fx5900 in a dell PSU @ 250 you will get nothing but
problems, you will have to upgrade your PSU (power supply)
