XFX 6800GT

2D (Office, Internet) - 51 deg C
3D - 60 deg C ish

Only case cooling is a single quiet (and not particularly powerful)
80mm rear fan. Tangled cables everywhere.
Also Tagan 480W PSU with exhaust fan and single intake fan.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

How are you measuring your temps? If you are running 51c at idle I can
assure you it will be running much hotter than 55c at full load. Mine is
running at 57c idle right now at almost the same room temp as you, and if I
run a program called rthdribl.exe in a window while watching the nVidia
properties screen it will climb to over 82c while that test is running. The
second I exit the program it drops over 12 degrees and then continues to
drop fast after that. So if you are not measuring the temp. and watching it
while the program is running then you are not getting a true reading under
full load. It will have dropped a lot after exiting the program and then
looking at the temp. I have a BFG 6800GT OC.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

i am getting the reading the temp from 4 temp probes what i have placed
right on the side of the heatsink
of the 6800gt and one on the heatsink to the cpu, harddrive, and center of the
case,
+5/-5 error rate,

i have set up a duck system in the case which cuts in when the case temp
hits around 30c+
the ducts take all the hot air out of the case and out of the room,

3 fans bring new air in from the side, front, and top and air is move around
the case by a fan at the which takes hot air out.

when i built the system i had been told that 3.2e cpu ran far to hot ,so i
went over the top with the cooling, looks like it has worked,

if i turn the duck system of my card temps are around the same.
