Using nvidia 7300gt for dual monitors - I've got the Nvidia 7300GT, and I'd like to run two monitors on it. There is one VGA plug, and one DVI plug. But I can't seem to get it to see both -- am I missing or does it only do one at a time?

slow frame rates on geforce 7300gt - Hi, I just purchased the 7300gt graphic card for $100. The problem is at a of 1280x960 for most games, the frame rate slows down, the games are still playable though. Can anyone tell me if you the same thing or is it a card defect..

8600GT Thoughts ? - I was upgrading from an XFX 7600 GS 256 to this - FS X is a bit too choppy in the old card and I could use a boost in CAD as well. Any thoughts BTW I'm running..

There's two kinds of 7300GT's....one is a clunker with 350Mhz core and
333Mhz (667) DDR2 memory. The other is one with a 500Mhz core and 700Mhz
(1400) DDR3. They are both are 128bit, 8 pixels per clock and 4 vertex
shaders. Obviously, the kind you are getting will make a huge difference.
The Inno3D 7300GT is one of the good kind. You don't say which 7300GT you
are looking at. In this review, they were able to get 640Mhz/1600Mhz form
the 7300GT stably.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I have two of these and am operating in SLI mode currently on *my*
"best" PC, Conroe Core 2 Duo E6600.

I think these fit your attribute of clunker. :-\

I am building a new PC and just wonder if I should swap the newer video
card I purchased, the 8600GT into this so-called, but admittedly not
super, PC.

Thanks again,

mIke

I would. That 8600GT will run circles around you two low end 7300GT's in SLI
mode.

I would say SLI or Crossfire is NOT worth it.
