I was going to go with this setup...but I think I goofed up.
I purchased a single 7600gs...but the one with 512mb ram...but failed to see
that it has slower memory [should have gone with the 256 memory model
7600gs]. I was going to match it for a sli setup [purchase the second one
later]...
So, now I have a question about sli setups. How equivalent do the boards
need to be? Could I match the 7600gs with 512mb ddr with a 7600gs 256mg
ddr2 board? The gpu's are the same, but memory a bit different? I'd rather
go with the 256 faster memory model of the 7600gs...I think?
In fact, just for info, how different can the boards be in a sli setup?
Could one, say for example, pair up an old 6600GT with a 7600gs [given that
both support sli...uh, and the motherboard too of course]?
