They sold plenty of old boards with this configuration. You might still find
one in stock somewhere. However, buying one would be a complete waste of
time given the CPU you're looking at.

There are loads, going back to the AI7 if memory serves correct. I doubt any
of them will come close to supporting a Core 2 Quad CPU.

If your logic for going AGP is that you can stick an old graphics card in
there, it just doesn't work. I doubt you will find any S775/AGP boards that
are compatible with Core 2 Duos, let alone Quads.
You can buy a PCI Express el-cheapo graphics solution for $20, or do as Bob
has already suggested, and go for a motherboard with onboard graphics. You
might not care about graphics performance, but in a server role you *do*
want a good memory controller. This means you're still gonna be looking at
965/P35 chipsets, which means PCIe graphics.

If it's a home server, are you really gonna need all that CPU power? If
you're looking at an overall cost of ownership/noise/power consumption
equation, a Core 2 Duo of some sort might be more suitable in this
application.

AB9 QuadGT/IP35 series plus cheap PCIe graphics card. You also then get some
room to manouver if you decide you want to change the role of the box later
in life. Quick graphics upgrade and it can be a gaming machine.
