Thanks for reply Dennis. I just did a build where I found the standard case
I/O plate fit my board. I didn't know if this was a common occurrence.
I appreciate the advice on the rebate and have heard some true horror
stories about Tigerdirect. I would already have my order in if it wasn't
for the question of the rebates. I did use Tigerdirect for a prior purchase
MB/Chip combo and am waiting for the rebate via OnRebate.com as of now. I
did get the rebate process through, with some work on my end, to the point
of rebate accepted and am waiting for them to issue the check.
This one has one rebate from OnRebate and one from Chaintech. It's a steal
on the chip for $99. if I get the rebates with a MB thrown in. Wouldn't be
bad deal even if I get one rebate through. Still bouncing this around in my
head as you can see and I appreciate your input to help me make a decision.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
