7njl6 blank screen at bootup

I have a 7njl6 with a Sempron 2500. When I turn the computer on, all the lights turn on, hard drive engages but no bios. I have tested the memory in another system and it is fine. I think my son may have been playing around in the bios but he won't say. Any help?

Have you cleared the CMOS per instructions in manual on page 14? It is
jumper JP1. (manual suggests instructions are on page 13 but in my copy
are on page 14). Use the most conservative mem settings until you get
the thing stable. Good luck.
