Can 8600GT do Different resolution on 2 monitors?

Can a 8600GT PCIe do two different resolutions on two monitors? I'm
going to be getting a new widescreen monitor (and new computer) and
would like to use my old 4:3 flat screen along with it but that would
not be practice if the resolution had to be the same on both.

Yes. Every card can do this. Make sure that you set up both of the
monitors correctly in terms of drivers/resolutions and you're good to
go.
