Hello,
I just put together a system using this board, 1G Geil PC3500 Ultra Dual
DDR, and a P4 3.0G.
Problem is when I install my existing hard drive, i start getting all kinds
of weird errors, crashes, etc.
Not using SATA, changed cables, tried formatting 2 hard drives and
installing XP and W98 with same results.
Once in a while the OS would complete installing, get booted, then crap out
(crash) with some failure.
Running stock bios recommendations. Trying to get it to see XP.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Guy

*top posting, so?*

I just installed my MS-6728 last monday but because i had a SIS648 based
rig, i dont have 2 ram sticks/p4c so... hears my suggestion, try sticking in
1 stick of of ddr400 or lower ram and connect only 1 hd (smallest one just
to load XP). That way you might be able to get it up to dl the v1.9 bios
and all the latest mobo driver stuff. Then add in the good stuff. I
dunno... might seem like a round about way. BTW, i love this board, hope it
works out for you.
