Epox 8RDA+ missing 1394 firewire

Hi, I have an Epox 8RDA+ running XP(SP1) and I used to have 1394 firewire
because I used it to download DV form a digital camcorder.
It does not appear now in the device manager or in network connections. I
have checked in the Bios and it is shown as Auto but the 1394 GUID is
diabled.
Anybody any Ideas?

I recall that all the onboard options,sound,lan and firewire can be
enabled/disabled from within the bios
You need to access the bios and check if it
has been disabled for some reason.
