Hiya, I have a 8RDA+ MB and i use to have a GF-TI200 video card installed,
and now i have a Ge Cube 9800 Pro installed.
Now after taking out the TI 200 i had to unplug a cable that was plug into
the AUD2 (front panel audio connector ) on the MB to able to place the 9800
in. I have a sound blaster live card installed and after unpluging that AUD2
plug i do not get any sound at all, i can not plug that cable back in cos
the the new card has a extra connector on it which is inpossible to have
both pluged in.
I know that this cable should`nt have an effect on the sound but it does
because my brother has the exact setup tho without the soundcard (he using
onboard sound) and after unplugging that cable and placing the 9800 in no
sound, after reinstalling his GTS card and pluging that cable back in AUD2
connector and he gets sound.
So what is the go to getting sound working????

Thanx.

The MB came with jumpers on it. You have to remove them to plug in the
connector for the front panel. I would assume you need to re-install the jumpers
back on the MB.
