Does anyone know if this board supports larger than the 2600 t-bird?
Buddy was wanting to upgrade to the barton 2800,and I find no info for that
chip.
thanks.

Hi,

this board supports Athlon XP up to 2800+ (only T-Bred). There is no support
for Barton!

I am running a Barton 2500+ OC'ed to 2800+ by just a multiplier change.

This old 8K5A2+ is running like a champ with the European BIOS, if you get
one cheap, it's a better deal than an nforce2, but my ram is only at 166mhz,
not 200Mhz, which some nforces can do easily.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

This is incorrect. I am running a Barton 2500+ on a 8K5A2+ as I type.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Nice recovery, but semantics aside, the Barton works in the 8K5A2+ and
that's what he wanted to know.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
