Post subject: 8k5a2 with no sound coming out?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>epox (more info?)
No additional cards, just mb and radeon ve.
I can hear post beep, microphone and analog sound from cd-rom from my
stereosystem's speakers. Nothing digital.
Xp hangs from time to time when trying Realtek's speaker test.

Any ideas?
Da-converters burned?

Please try to remove the realtek drivers from add/remove programs and
install the 3.54a version from our website.

Very late thanks for your kind suggestion Dear Top Posting Support,
but 3.54a didn't change anything.
There is still beep after boot, but then sound clicks like amplifier or
line is been switched off and big silence in windows.
Any other ideas?
