What's the cost of the 9600GT? What's the cost of the 8800GT at the
time the 9600GT is available? What's the performance like for both
cards at that time? What's the power requirements for both cards? How
much heat do they produce?
These are just some of the questions that will need to be answered
before anyone can answer your question. The 9600GT should be
interesting but if it's a new design (I can't recall if the next
version will be a new design or a respin of the current chip) then I
wouldn't be surprised if the performance isn't 100% out of the box.
Which means the 9600GT will get better performance months after the
release date due to improved drivers. >> Stay informed about: 9600GT next year |
