New install with configuration below in ASUS WiFi-b board. Initial install
worked fine and WiFi card worked well with my Dell Latitude laptop. When I
turn off the computer or reboot, I loose the WiFi connection and have to
reinstall from the setup utility. I tried updating the driver from 1.7.0.0
to 1.9.3.0 (latest on ASUS site) but could not get the WiFi to work at all.
I uninstalled, reinstalled from original CD (back to 1.7.0.0 driver) - got
the WiFi to work again but still having the same problem that every time I
turn off the computer I have to run the ASUS WiFi setup program to get the
wireless to work. One thing I note is that I can see the wireless come to
life during the reboot process (from the laptop signal monitor) but then it
fails. When WiFi is working, it's working just fine and I can get to the
internet and home network.
Has anyone had this issue? I'm not sure if it's a
hardward/software/driver/user problem??
Thanks, John
