I am thinking about replacing the AMD cooler (CPU = AMD FX 60 / socket
939) on my A8N32-SLI Deluxe with an after-market unit. I have read
the NewEgg reviews concerning the Arctic Silver cooler and will pass
on it -- seems to be exerting too much pressure involving the lock
down. I do not want to remove the board from the case to install the
support bracket so I cannot use the Zalman. Has anyone come across a
cooler that can simply replace the AMD unit as is. I really have no
complaints with the AMD cooler which I just re-installed using Arctic
Silver compound .. just looking for something more efficient
(non-water).

NSN, I think you should take the time to take your PC apart and clean
it out...yeah, it's a royal pain, but I imagine you've had this setup
for 2-3 years now?

I installed a Zalman, and other than tight squeeze with the first RAM
stick, I'm glad I did it. Mostly because I took everything apart and
blew off the dust.

No laughing please! My computer is spotless. MY CPU right now at idle
is at 33C. Ambient temp. is 22C. I am bored and looking for something
to do. I like Zalman products but in this situation I do not want to
take down all the wiring to remove the motherboard .. I am not that
bored.
