Archived from groups: alt>comp>hardware>overclocking (more info?)

I'm a diehard Abit person but this board has given me fits at various
times. The latest issue is another USB one, I have a Saitek ST90 joystick
which has no software driver (uses default miscrosoft usb device driver). XP
detects it but cannot load the driver. I've tried directing to
windows\system32\drivers and pointing to a slipstreamed XP SP2 CD. Neither
works. I plugged the joystick into my laptop (which runs XP) and the
joystick is detected and installed without intervention. I have the latest
bios for the it7. I have the latest via drivers, intel chipset drivers and
usb 2.0 drivers. I tried the 1.1 ports and 2.0 ports to no avail. I only am
using the ones on the rear port header. Every port is functional - tested
with mouse and keyboard. I'm using a logitech mx500 mouse and logitech
internet keyboard. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

So what you are saying is that your motherboard will not support your USB
device which has no software driver

I WISH TO COMPLAIN THAT MY NEW MOTHERBOARD WILL NOT SUPPORT MY OLD
TECHNNOLEGY

This is life my friend, get used to it<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
