I have been trying to help a friend with a new digicam edit her photos
with her PC. We tried Camedia, and Dell Picture Studio software, but
couldn't even get the red-eye removal tools to work. I have ACDSee
from a Pentax Camera that I just bought. Would we have better luck
with that? I'm a Mac user, so would not need the ACDSee software.
TIA,
NB
PS After importing the pics into the Camedia software, we could not
find them using Search/Files and folders in XP Home. Where did they
go? We had the photo album visible, running in the Camedia software,
but a search for the file name did not turn up any results?

Camedia Master 4.0 is hard to learn, but it works.
Go to Help in the upper right hand corner.
It would take me weeks to explain it in the group.

It's probably too complicated for my friend, then.
Thanks,
