I'm trying to update a PC with indeterminate components. The video
card went down and it looks unusual. One borrowed from another PC
wouldn't physically fit. Looking at the card with the fixing bracket
on the left and the edge connector pointing down there are ten fingers
and a slot, then eight fingers and a slot, then eleven fingers,
followed by a major slot.

The mobo is MSI and has a sticker on it saying TG865PE. I believe
that refers to the BIOS.

Can anyone shed any light on the card or mobo? I don't want to spend
much more on fixing it.

Colin

It should fit. What you are describing is a "Universal" AGP card. It should
fit in any agp slot.
