AMR Update

Thanx Dave, Alby and others for the suggestions.

We were away for several days; so I didn't get around to playing with the
card until yesterday. But it's a no go. When I try to install the PCTel
drivers for the PCTel HSP56 MR hardware my system crashes.

MS error reporting suggests that it is a problem with our graphics
controller. I've checked the FIC and VIA ( the mobo has VIA chipsets ) sites
for updates but I have all the latest updates installed and the card still
crashes our system.

Since I can live without the AMR modem capability and since the card only
cost $6 including shipping, I'm not going to waste anymore time trying to
get it functioning. Maybe after we close up our summer camp, I'll play
around with it some more.
