Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>abit (more info?)

My new ABit AN8 Fatal1ty SLI motherboard comes with the micro-Guru system
for monitoring and overclocking. Since this is my first Abit board, I'm not
familiar with the uGuru hardware and software. I couldn't find any useful
discussion on Google, but the web reviews of the board seem generally
favorable toward the uGuru system. My question is this: is the use of
this extra hardware and software an automatic no brainer -or- are there
users out there who consider it not worth the trouble? FWIW, I plan to do
some mild to moderate overclocking with this system.
