Hello and everybody.
With the modem/router working already, i have no problems with internet and
the dns2go software connects to the internet with no problems.
Without my e-mail server yet configured and its not running, i send and i
receive e-mail from my acount with my ISP
(carlos-arruda@carlos-arruda.freeserve.co.uk).
I ping my url (www.carlos-arruda.com) and i see my wan IP cause of the
dns2go software, so far so good.
The problem is that the port forwording is not working or i probably am in
the wrong part of the routers configuration.
Everytime that i try to access my site (www.carlos-arruda.com) i have this
login thing to insert username and password wich is my routers configuration
webpage, so bettewn the internet and my 602Pro Lan Suite something is wrong.
For the port forwarding i have the following:
Virtual Server Configuration
ID Public Port Private Port Port Type Host IP Address
1 80 80 TCP 192.168.28.4
(My 602Pro Lan Suite)
2 443 443 TCP 192.168.28.4
(My 602Pro Lan Suite)
If this is the port forwarding is not working then, cause i can't see my
webpage as well you guys can't see it as well if you try, it will ask you
guys for a username and password wich will give you access to my routers
configuration. ( I have changed the password and its quite big the new one
 , your advice remember???).
Any sugestions guys????? Paul????
Cheers and thanks to all.
Carlos Arruda

Hello guys.
As i said i have got a set of printscreens read online so that you guys can
see what i have...
Its a set of 28 pics of all pages and configurations that i have in my
router, total size is 2.18MB in winrar so that you guys can download them
and take a look.
You can always see them in my webpage
(www.carlos-arruda.com/routerpage1.jpg) and just change the number till 28
so that you can see them all or, you can download the router.rar file from
(www.carlos-arruda.com/router.rar).
I was wondering, my e-mail server is also http server and uses port 80, so i
don't really need the router to be my webserver do i??
You can see the scan i have done to the router in
(www.carlos-arruda.com/routerportscan.jpg)
I am having a huge headheack with this router and e-mail servers.
I can surf the net but when it comes down to see my url,
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.carlos-arruda.com," target="_blank">www.carlos-arruda.com,</a> it sows me the user and password for the router's web
interface, by typing my url i am being lead to the router and not to my web
server in 602Pro Lan Suite software.
Hope that these pics will help you guys to help me.
Cheers

OK, I haven't used that LAN Suite server program, but I have taken time to
look at all of your screenshots.
I have a web server setup on one of my PCs, but I use a different program.
From that PC, which is behind a router, if I type in the URL for the
Internet connection (which is an IP address since I don't have a registered
web address), I get nothing. This happens from all the PCs behind the
router. But as soon as I leave the router, and use a friend's PC or a
library PC or a work PC, I get the web page just like I should. On that PC
with the server, it has an 'admin' port. So, if I type in 127.0.0.1:16000,
I get a login screen, and I can change settings for the server.
What I think is happening is that your router has a problem that most
routers have, and that is when a PC within the router's LAN tries to access
the WAN port, it will not work. However, it will work from outside
addresses.
When I access your page, everything seems fine. I do not get a login
screen, I get a screen informing me about your server software.
What you need to do, perhaps, is to access your Router's setup, and ensure
that port forwarding directs ports 25, 80, and 110 need to be forwarded to
that server PC's LAN IP address.
If that isn't done then nobody from outside the LAN can access the page,
only within the LAN, by using LAN IP (ie, from a PC within my LAN I can
access my server's index.html page and it works like a web server by
accessing <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://192.168.0.6/" target="_blank">http://192.168.0.6/</a> from any PC within the LAN, even itself, and
on itself, <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://127.0.0.1/" target="_blank">http://127.0.0.1/</a> also works, as it should, but trying to access
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://24.x.x.x/" target="_blank">http://24.x.x.x/</a> [I forget what it is exactly, as I haven't used the server
in a month or so] won't work from any PC on the planet). As soon as you
open those ports, the WAN IP address becomes open for the whole world,
except your LAN, to access from <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://81.79.88.207" target="_blank">http://81.79.88.207</a> or the registered
address.
Since I can view your page, I would think that you have correctly configured
your router and server software.
However, if you would change your index.html file from the default, I can
make sure of that.

With a friend from canada, i now that he sees my webpage but i still canīt,
it goes to the web interface setup for the router, minor problem, and he
access an account that i had set for this test.
Without the port forwarding he could see the main page but when he tryed to
log in to the webmail an error would accour.
I forward the 80 port to the vera's pc and now he can login and see his
e-mail box, if you wanna try go to <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.carlos-arruda.com" target="_blank">www.carlos-arruda.com</a> and in the left
click in webmail, user as user and password as password just for this test.
The FTP Server works with the port forwarding and it don't work without it.
I am sending mail and the port 25 is not forward, i havent foward it and i
know that the e-mail gets to its destany, i send a couple e-mail to my
hotmail ccounts and it was there.
The problem is that i have forward the port 110 to receive e-mail but
nothing so far.
Any ideias?
Any ideia on how will i overcome this thing of not seing my own webpage but
others do? I guess i can live with that.
On FTP you can try by using either the webbrowser or an ftp cliente and use
this <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://ftp.carlos-arruda.com" target="_blank">ftp.carlos-arruda.com</a> (port21) user/password, you can take the
terminator 3 if you want, its there.
Cheers
Carlos

You will never be able to see your web page by going to
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.carlos-arruda.com," target="_blank">www.carlos-arruda.com,</a> only from going to <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://" target="_blank">http://</a>(LAN.IP.Address)/ or
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://127.0.0.1/." target="_blank">http://127.0.0.1/.</a>
I can't login to the webmail, it says username doesn't exist.
The FTP server is working, though.
As far as the port 110, if your port 25 works without forwarding, then try
disabling the forwarding for 110...maybe that'll work?
I know when I got my web server working, I forwarded 25, 80, and 110, and
with PHP I was able to use the mail() fuction to send mail to the account I
setup in the mail server.
