NF7 Boot to CD - I just installed v2.5 and I can't get to the WinXP CD to click on setup. I guess Abit doesn't have this feature? How the heck will I get back to the XP HDD's?

I've assembled an new PC vith a AV8 board, but the PC does not boot. I can
only hear a loud "high-low" sound from the speaker. I get no signal on the

Your cpu is overheating. Make sure the heatsink is attached properly. Are you sure ? I thought it is the problem with the bios version and the winchester chipset on the cpu. The sounds appear immediately after power on. Ram reseated also in the other two slots, only 1 slot ,.... no ram.....--> same sounds CPU: A64 3000+ Winchester , PSU Bequiet 400W, Bios....hmmm.....don't know ! Board is version 1.1 . Hmmm....now I'm a little bit unsure what my problem is. The cpu and cooler are propperly mounted, so that no heat problem could accour (especially within the first 2 seconds after power on the system). But nobody reports sounds in the threads with the winchester problems !!!! Well...I think i'll call Abit tomorrow for a new bios chip. what number does the leds say? If it's 90 you need a new bios chip. Is there a reason why it is not the cpu? Is it possible that at one time the heatsink was not mounted properly?
