Sometimes when I try to view a video, WMP wants to acquire a license.
I'm thinking this is bad but I don't know. I'd rather not download
anything that would help someone destabilize my precariously balanced
XP. Suggestions? Can it cause problems to download a license needed
to view a video file. These would be vids of questionable or unknown
origin.

Thanks
BM

Its all part of DRM just to ensure that anything you do take the trouble to
download legally wont be playable for more than a couple of plays because,
for some unexplained reason the license you thought you had is corrupted,
missing been abducted etc! That is if WMP doesn't throw a fit and say the
file's unplayable anyhow for some obscure technical reason!

Sorry about the rant but I speak from bitter experience!
