May sound a silly question but should the fan be fitted to push cool air
down onto cooler or to pull air up past the cooler?

What is reckoned to be the most efficient method?

I don't know about Zalmans, but for "normal"
heatsinks, I've seen it done both ways. I always do
"push" -- I figure it's a little more direct.

Thanks for the advice - that is how I have it set but with the fan 'label
then being underneath and hidden, you start to wonder!
