Where I'd start, is clicking the BIOS tab on the horizontal part of
this page. I don't see any warnings in red text, on the BIOS download
page. You check here first, because sometimes there are known problems,
and this is where they are officially acknowledged.

After examining all the evidence, read the manual and discover what
methods are available. Since some motherboard BIOS are getting so
big now, in fact some of them don't even fit on a floppy any
more. Personally, the only thing I'd stay away from, is a Windows
based flasher.
