I have an Antec 1600 case that has three identical HDD LED wires from
the front panel. I have tried to hook up each one and then run a
directory list in DOS to hit the hard drive. (Windows not yet
installed). The mobo is an Epox 8KHA+ that appears to have on J3 a
five pin conn then space then a two pin IDE conn and a two pin Turbo
conn followed by a space and then two pin Power conn. There is NO
space between the IDE and Turbo pins. I cannot get any of the LEDs to
light up the front light. Any ideas?

Ken

Are these singles or pairs? Do they have one two-way connector or
two single pole connectors on each?

Make sure smartdrv.exe isn't running.

Try reversing the connector. In respect of the Power LED, it needs to
connect to J2 on the left-hand pin, (1) and the middle one (3) on the
right-hand strip of five. The Turbo pins have no purpose (legacy).
