I've read various positive reviews of this stuff, and want to try it out.
Does anyone know of a US dealer for it? thx!

Ya thanks, I saw it on jab-tech.com and ordered there. I'm going to try
it on this coolermaster geminii and report the results.

Try AutoZone. Get some axle grease. Works as good or better. Doesn't
break down with heat (at the amount a CPU gives off) or pressure, flows
to bridge all the micro-gaps and is designed to conduct heat across
those micro-gaps.

It doesn't form a cured bond that could break and reduce heat conducting
qualities. Also makes CPU upgrade / change a lot easier.

Been using is for years and it works great.

Note on Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound - Just a note that I tried this on a KN8 + Opteron170 + geminII setup, and it worked fine, and did drop temps from AS5 a couple degrees. With Prime95 running on both cores at 2.8ghz@1.41v it peaks at 53C at about 28C ambient. As an afterthought I put i...

So what if thermal compound spreads? - What exactly is the problem if too much cpu compound is put on the core and it gets squashed out onto the surrounding area? Apart from looking messy, is there any real problem with this?

Took off Heatsink and no thermal compound left any reason .. - Took off Heatsink and no thermal compound left any reason this would happen ? Nothing on the CPu nothing on the heatsink ? The reason i did this becuase the CPu was running WAY to hot, it was running like 20c Ambient and 55 to 60 on idle and light load...

heatsink compound expiration? - Hi, This might be slightly off-topic, so apologies in advance. Basically, I have an unopened tube of heatsink compound that I was thinking of using. Trouble is, the tube is about 4 years old. So my question is whether I should use it or not? Does tha...

Arctic Silver 5 - Hi, Is anyone else having problems getting a good application of AS5 on their Athlon? Whenever I try, I cannot get a good enough interface between HSF and CPU core to get a stable machine. Reverting back to AS*3* always (*always*) remedies the matter. I...
