Just hooked up a new DVD drive to my Asus mobo and it's not working.
It will power up, display the Asus splash screen and then powers down.

Specs:
Asus P5N-E SLI
Dual core Pentium D 3gz
1g OCZ DDR2 RAM
80g IDE HD
120g SATA HD
LiteScribe SATA DVD-ROM
G-Force 512 PCI-Express video card

Operational prior to installing DVD drive. Problem still occurs after
removing drive and putting back to original specs. Happened when I
first got the mobo, swapped RAM to current RAM. That was 2 months ago.

Cannot even enter set-up screen.

Go through every single connector on the MB and make sure you didn't knock
some connector off or loosen one. I have done it myself and it can drive you
nuts...Smile. Make sure to check the main power connector by removing it and
plugging it back in. Also check the CPU fan connecor because it is very easy
to unplug accidently.

Did that - that was the first thing we checked.
