There is a new BIOS available, 1.03, for the K8WE (S2895).
New K8WE Thunder (S2895) BIOS 105 Available - I was cruising the new Tyan site tonight, and I noticed a new 105 BIOS for the K8WE Thunder (S2895) motherboard. It installed like a charm. I don't know whether everybody already knew about it. Enjoy! :-) Jim
S2895 K8WE dead after BIOS 1.05 - I need help ! My trusty S2895 2x275 Opteron 2 year old system does not respond after flashing from BIOS 1.03 to 1.05. System powers up ..beeps twice ..fans are all running ..mouse and keyboard light up , but nothing displays on the monitor. I hit the CMO...
Tyan S2895 / K8WE BIOS 1.04 "out of space for Option ROMs!" - I have a Tyan Thunder K8WE / S2895 and just upgraded the BIOS to the lastest version 1.04 Now the BIOS hangs up during booting, and it says: "out of space for Option ROMs!" what does this mean? I disabled a couple of on-board devices ...
