Post subject: BIOS Detecetd CD Drive But OS not!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Friends,

I installed 98 on my old p111 m/c. its BIOS detected CD Rom .but after installation while exploring my computer it not showing CD drive. Pls help me in this matter. more over what all files are using related to Cd Drive.

(Please give more detail about the system. "98" mean win98? What's
"m/c"?)

You may need to install "chip set" drivers. Go into Control Panel,
System, Device Manager, and see if, under Hard disk controllers, PCI
Bus Master IDE Controlers and Secondary IDE controller are listed.
