Post subject: Bad GA-965P-DS3 memory socket?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>gigabyte (more info?)

Purchase the above board in late may, and I just notice that the memory bank
#2 is not recognizing the memory, change bios, change memory, installed
different configurations on different memory banks, and got the same result.
Any help will be appreciated, GA was not of good help, they toll me to go
online I get an "RA#', send the board to them and wait, latter for that,
I'll be purchasing a different brand board. I offered to give them my credit
card #, so they can send a replacement, and if I don't return it no later
than 15 days. They can charge my card. They said 'NO' (That would have been
good cust. serv., and would give me a short down time) so once again, any
help or ideas on how can I take care of this problem?
