Hi...

I have an N2U400-A ECS EliteGroup board, with an Athlon 2500+ (1.8GhZ) cpu,
and 512 MB memory modules in DIMM1 and DIMM2.

When I ran Belarc Advisor it shows a 1.10GhZ cpu and memory Slot 'A0' empty,
Slot 'A1' 512 MB and Slot 'A2' 512 MB.

It seems logical that DIMM1 should read as 'A0', DIMM2 as 'A1' and so on. So
why would Belarc Advisor show the above memory configuration, and why would
the cpu speed be wrong?

quite often there is a jumper to change. i looked at the pdf manual and there doesn't seem to be one. you probably will have to enter the bios and load the optimal settings, then save and exit. to do that tapping the delete key at the beginning of the first post screen should get you there.

your just running with a 100fsb at default setting. optimal should set it to 166fsb.

here's a nice little program that will also show cpu and ram specs.
