Has anyone used some of the newer motherboards with both SATA and UltraDMA
drive connectors. How does the BIOS determine boot order of the
hard-drives? Can you specify if you want it to boot from the first SATA
drive or the first UltraDMA drive in the BIOS?

I think mine auto detected my first hard drive, which is a raid 1 and when I
installed a third drive for data only, I had to tell it in the bios not to
boot from that particular drive
