There's not enough information here to draw a conclusion. What you need to
do is install the Samsung hard drive in a different computer system and USE
IT for about a week or more of heavy use. Do it ASAP, as you may have to
RMA the motherboard or the Samsung hard drive. Something is corrupting
files on your hard drive. The only two common components are the samsung
hard drive and the drive controller on the new ASUS motherboard. Well, the
power supply is common also, but I don't think that's the problem as you
haven't seen other symptoms that would point to a power supply problem. If
the Samsung hard drive works fine in another computer, RMA the motherboard.
Oh, before you do that, make sure the motherboard is running the latest
chipset drivers downloaded from ASUS. If that doesn't help, RMA that
