Post subject: Buying a new system. I have 4 video card choices. Need advice.
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>video (more info?)

I haven't kept up with the latest news so can you help me choose.
I'm a game player but do dabble in photoshop as well.

ATI radeon 9600 Pro
Asus V9280 TI4200
Radeon 9000 LE
Geforce MX440

All are 128 mg cards. the GeForce is the cheapest.

Among those options go with the 9600. The 9000 and MX are
entry-level--they work but they don't have much performance. The Ti4200
is a decent performer but the 9600 is two generations newer.
