I would like to get a CD/rw to back up my files and pictures. What would be
a good make and what software do I need?
Should I just get a CD/rw, the CD/DVD-rw, or the combo drive? I have and
older p ll I want it to be IDE too.I would like to keep it simple as I can
and keep cost down.
Thanks Johnny

ok i would say it would not be worth your money to just buy the CD-RW. go here:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827152047

and look at this dvd drive, you can savemore than 5 times the amount of data on a dvd than a cd, which makes it much better than the CD-RW.

1 question though you need an open IDE plug, i mean unless you space crazy and have 4 harddrives already than you should have the space,

y not just buy another small harddrive to backup the data?
