I just built a new system using a kt333 Dragon Ultra Platinum board and an
AMD 2200+.
Every thing went together fine and the system booted up flawless. the only
problem I had is with the Soyo cd that came with the board. when I insert
the CD the Soyo screen comes up but when I click on Board Information it
says "Unknown Motherboard". also when I click on Drivers or Manuals it says
"No Drivers found for your Motherboard" or "No manuals found for your
Motherboard". Is it possible I recieved the wrong cd. the revision no. on
the cd is 20020101.

Read the manual...........

You need to manually enter board information at the CD splash screen.

He probably did. Download the specific drivers for your motherboard at the
soyo site. Make sure you're using the correct OS/ drivers.

Joe,

Your input is appreciated, however, you are incorrect and not quite on
topic. Reading the installation portion of the manual, page 83, under
*step 1*, it states that for this board: "If you are running Win NT/2000/XP,
the Soyo CD will not detect your motherboard type. In that case the
following dialog will pop up. Please choose your motherboard model number
and press OK." You *must* enter the information manually.................

I am supposing that Iron Helix is not a morron. If you can't see the pop-up
on installation, you shouldn't be using a computer. I beleive Iron Helix can
get past that stage.
I am assuming he did. So Iron Helix, how did it go.

well I was originaly using win98 so there was no input needed to enter the
screen. but exploring the cd I found 3 manuals in the manual folder P41
Fire Dragon, P4S Dragon Plus, K7V Dragon Plus, thats all no manual for
kt333 Dragon Ultra Platinum. Now I am using winxp so when I insert the
SoyoCD in the drive a box pops up asking me to select my motherboard but the
same 3 boards list. No KT333 Dragon Ultra Platinum.

ps. I DID read the manual thats how I know that what I am seeing is
incorrect.
