Post subject: what CF card for a canon powershot s60
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>dcameras (more info?)

ok just got my hands on my first digital camera, the canon powershot
S60.
Very nice impressed so far, paid £319 p.a.p all in from
www.cameras2u.com
Anyway i'm looking for a larger CF card like 1gig if possible, like i
said this is the very first digi cam and first time using CF cards so
need some help.
Can anybody point me to a nice big 1gig card that can be used in the
powershot S60.
I've also heard there is 2 types of CF cards type I and type II
can anybody tell me if the 2 types of cards will work in the powershot
S60
I've been looking at the Lexar 1GB 80x Professional Compact flash Card
from ebuyer
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9k...0X292ZX
as to be a uk site if i'm ordering anything
any feed back is welcome

I don't believe the S60 can make use of fast CF cards such as this. So save
yourself some money and buy a slower 1GB card like:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=1466040979&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=54901" target="_blank">http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=1466040979&actio...2hvd19w</a><!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

canon love micro drives, a 512 micro drive will set you back £45 on
e,bay it will give you 212 full quality pictures ! and they never lose
the pictures, unlike some cheap cf cards
