Post subject: Has any used a CPU converter for Pentium 4 system
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard (more info?)

I have a P4 motherboard and have been very happy with it, I see that now
there is a socket 423/478 converter that will allow me to put a socket 478
cpu into my motherboard. My question is this, has anyone at tested these
adapters, is there a limitation as to what cpu I can put in, do they
actually work and will my computer be faster, can I put in a 533 MHz CPU?

Thanks

Don
