Check the specifications. Look for PC control or Remote Control or Remote
Capture.

Your best bet is to try and find a used D30 in good condition. This camera
has a superb output compared to other 3mp cameras, and has nice Remote
Capture software for it, as well as Chris Breeze's software. You wold have a
real camera, with all of their EF lens to choose.

I am in the market for a new digital camera myself. I had a very old
one & software is not compatiable with Windows XP. I am looking around
for new digital camera I find this site helpful because it gives you
side by side comparisons
