I would like to set up an A-B switch so I can connect two PCs to the
same physical ethernet jack and select computer A or computer B as
needed. Can anybody recommend a particular make/model that would be
suitable?

Thanks
Dave

Why in the world would you ever want something like that? Just get
yourself an ethernet hub or etherswitch and you can use both computers
at the exact same time and it'll all go through the same wall jack.
