Does anybody know if a Celeron D 350 3.2 ghz (Prescott core) will work
with the P4I865PE?

I'm currently running a SY-P4I865PE Plus Dragon 2 with Celeron D 325
2.53ghz (Prescott core), Windows XP SP2, and bios version 2BA1 (aka
P4IP2_2BA1 or 865l2ba1.exe). It's been a pretty stable config.

I would like to upgrade the processor to a Celeron D 350 3.2 ghz, but
I'm not sure if it will be compatible. According to the Soyo website,
this board is compatible with Prescott processors, but it only lists
Celerons up to 2.8ghz. If anybody has compatibility info about this
board, please post. Thanks....

This is a follow-up to my original post. Soyo responded to my
compatibility question about 3 weeks after I sent it to them.
Unfortunately, it doesn't answer my question, and their response is
contradictory. Here is Soyo's response:

For Celerons a max of 2.8Ghz no more. (it may work but can not
guarantee
it!)

Thank you for your understanding and patronage!
