Hi, was wondering if anyone has got anything over a celeron 733
(max celeron as per manual) to run on this board. Can get a Celeron 1.2 from
a friend for nothing but don't want to screw around with changing out the
Cel 600 that's in it now if it won't work.

Thanks

I don't like the way he puts the wires directly on the cpu pins. I'd solder
the wires to the bottom side of the board.

Running Cel 1.3 on mine using an Upgradeware converter.
Works fine. Converter is 370 GU. Kit comes with fan and heatsink.
Check <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.upgradeware.com" target="_blank">www.upgradeware.com</a> or their US distributor

Thanks for the info, Dave! I'll save this as a last ditch effort since
the eyes and hands aren't quite as sharp and steady as they used to be.

Thanks again!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Upgradeware 370 board, plugged in a 1.3Ghz Tualatin and it went. No
extra configuration necessary at all. (went until the caps popped on the
mobo last month, that is) <sigh>.

Thanks for the info, Peter! I just had the caps on this board replaced
and it runs great with a celeron 600 @ 1053. If you're looking to get it
fixed give Homie a try. He'll fix ya right up.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
